CERTIFICATION
ESP is a member of
NFPA with
membership pending on the medical gas committee. ESP is also
PIPE certified
to inspect new and existing medical gas systems.
All testing is performed in compliance with the regulatory standards
of NFPA, USP, JCAHO,
and the US Department of Health and Social Services. Testing is tailored
to meet your needs from minor spot checks to full certification of an entire
system. Testing may include the following elements:

shutoff valves
leak detection
flow
pressure
dewpoint
gaseous contaminants
particulate contaminants
labeling
EQUIPMENT
Unlike many competitors, we use equipment calibrated to NIST traceable
standards.
DECONTAMINATION
ESP can safely remove contaminants from your medical gas system if necessary.
Some common contaminants include:
carbon scale created by improper brazing
techniques
copper carbonate crystals formed due to
excessive moisture during dryer failures
harmful bacteria which may infiltrate moist
areas during or after a dryer failure
construction debris such as flux and copper
shavings
