CERTIFICATION
ESP certifies bio-safety cabinets to satisfy the requirements of NSF
49 , ASHP, Federal Standard 209E, and the manufacturer's criteria. Specific

IN-SERVICE-SAFETY MANUAL
A written in-service/safety manual is provided at no additional charge.
This manual contains safe work practices for the use of bio-safety cabinets
and is invaluable in assisting with OSHA hazard communication training.
REPAIRS
ESP is factory trained and authorized to repair bio-safety cabinets.
Repairs may include electrical troubleshooting, blower/motor replacement,
and installing new HEPA filters.
IF YOU ARE MOVING YOUR CABINET...
Please be aware that bio-safety cabinets which have been used to contain
chemotherapy drugs must be thoroughly sealed before they are moved. Personnel
who open contaminated plenums to service the cabinet must wear appropriate
PPE including HEPA respirators. Cabinets must also be recertified after
they are moved.
